The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse II Timothy 2:15
What do we do?

Awana is a Bible-based, Christ-centered program for children. It is an international Bible-centered youth ministry club whose primary goal is to teach boys and girls the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

It includes scripture memory, Biblical principles, games, activities, songs, badges, and awards.
